Carolina García-Martín Saura

Carolina García-Martín Saura has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the legal field. Carolina is currently serving as the Vice President of Legal and Compliance at iM Global Partner since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Aberdeen Standard Investments, where they held the positions of Legal Counsel from July 2016 to March 2022 and Senior Legal Counsel from February 2019 to February 2022. Carolina also gained experience at Aviva Investors, where they worked as a Legal Counsel from January 2016 to June 2016 and as a Legal and Corporate Officer from July 2012 to December 2015. Carolina started their career as a Legal Intern at the Ministry of Justice of Spain in April 2009. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Junior Legal Officer at Fortis Investments in July 2008.

Carolina García-Martín Saura obtained a Master's degree in Law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2003 to 2009. Carolina also pursued Diplomatic studies at the Diplomatic School - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Spain from 2009 to 2012. In addition, they received a Master's degree in Political Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid during the same period. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificat d'études politiques (CEP) in Political Science and International Relations from Institut d'études politiques de Rennes from 2007 to 2008. Carolina Garcia-Martín Saura has additional certifications as a Certified Fund Lawyer from IFBL Institut in 2015, a Claritas Investment Certificate from CFA Institute in 2013, and is a Spanish qualified lawyer recognized by the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid.
