Himesh Kala

Himesh Kala has a strong background in research and investment analysis. Himesh has worked as a VP of Research & Investment ESG at iM Global Partner since 2017, where they conduct rigorous research on equity investment strategies offered by boutique asset managers and hedge funds. Prior to that, they worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Knight Spring Research, focusing on small and mid cap value stocks. Himesh also has experience as a Business Analyst for a private consultancy and as an Investment Associate/Manager Research at Aon Hewitt. Himesh began their career as an Equity Research Analyst at UBS, covering media stocks, and worked as a Senior Associate in the Corporate Finance Group/Structured Finance at Moody's Investors Service, where they produced adjustments to financial statements for credit appraisal.

Himesh Kala completed the Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School in 2013, focusing on Investments and Securities. In 2011, they attended London Business School for a program in Project and Company Valuation. In 2004, they graduated from the University of Cape Town with honors in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management. Himesh'sundergraduate degree, obtained from the University of Cape Town between 1998 and 2002, is a Bachelor of Business Science with a focus on various management courses, information systems, and computer science as a second major. Additionally, Himesh is a CFA Level 3 Candidate, pursuing certification from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute since 2016.
