Joanna Birrell

Joanna Birrell serves as the Vice President and Real Estate & Hospitality Claims Practice Leader at McGriff, where responsibilities include managing clients with property and casualty exposures across the United States since January 2016. Prior to this role, Joanna worked at Marriott International for nearly 14 years, progressing from Adjuster I to Adjuster II, and ultimately to Senior Claims Adjuster, where oversight included a complex caseload of General Liability, Premises Liability, Auto Liability, Property Damage, and Workers' Compensation claims. Joanna began their career with a summer internship at National Financial Services Group in June 2001. Educationally, Joanna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.
