Howard Popejoy III

Howard Popejoy III has a diverse work experience in various human resources roles. Howard started their career as a Quality Technician at Adam Aircraft in 2005 and later worked as a Receiving Inspector at Sierra Nevada Corporation. In 2009, they joined Lake Region (formerly Accellent) as a Quality Inspector and later transitioned to the role of Master Trainer before becoming a Human Resources Generalist.

In 2015, Howard joined United Natural Foods as a Human Resources Generalist, where they focused on reducing turnover and improving the employee experience. Howard also built trust and camaraderie within the driving team.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist at FJA-US, mainly focusing on reducing liabilities and improving HR support.

In 2019, Howard joined United Site Services as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Howard played a key role in the human capital strategy for nine states and led a team to provide exceptional customer service to 650 team members.

From 2021 to 2023, they worked at Western Veterinary Partners as the Director of People, where they pioneered the people strategy for a startup responsible for over 31 states and 2,500+ team members. Howard established automation in processes for employee onboarding and benefit administration to enhance the employee experience.

Currently, Howard is the Human Resources Director at ImageFIRST, where they oversee the HR department and contributes to the overall strategic objectives of the company.

Howard Popejoy III obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Colorado Technical University in the period 2016-2017. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma in General Studies from Arvada West High School from 1999-2003. Howard also holds an additional certification as an American Heart Heartsaver Instructor, which they obtained from Cintas/American Heart in July 2015.
