Nilam Singh (Patel)

Nilam Singh (Patel) has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nilam is currently working as an Associate General Counsel at Imagen Dental Partners, starting in May 2022. Prior to this role, they held the same position at Sonrava Health from August 2016 to May 2022. At Sonrava Health, they had substantive involvement in the legal affairs of a private equity-backed dental services organization. Nilam supervised and provided strategic direction on a broad portfolio of litigation and administrative/regulatory agency matters, handling single plaintiff, multi-party, and class/representative actions across multiple jurisdictions.

Before their role at Sonrava Health, Nilam served as a Senior Litigation and Transactional Attorney at Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang and Waimey from February 2010 to August 2016. In this role, they represented employers in labor and employment litigation cases, including wage/hour disputes, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination cases. Nilam also represented global automotive manufacturers and distributors in products liability and personal injury actions.

Nilam also has experience in legal education as a Law and Business Course Instructor at the University of California, Irvine Extension from October 2009 to January 2016. Additionally, they have worked in contract law at True Fabrications from 2008 to 2010, where they structured and negotiated various agreements and managed intellectual property rights.

Nilam'searlier work experience includes roles as a Legal and Trial Consultant at Nextpoint from November 2007 to April 2009, where they worked with defense litigation teams, researched legal arguments, and managed e-discovery databases. Nilam also worked as a Litigation Attorney at Bremer, Whyte, Brown & O'Meara from August 2006 to November 2007, managing high-volume cases in products liability, construction defect, insurance defense, and real estate matters.

Nilam began their legal career as a Law Clerk at Yahoo Inc. in 2003. Prior to entering the legal field, they worked as a Media Planner at Saatchi & Saatchi from 2000 to 2001, and as a Media Planner/Buyer at TBWA\\Chiat\\Day from 1999 to 2000.

Nilam Singh (Patel) obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History and Psychology from UCLA, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Nilam further pursued their education by attending Santa Clara University School of Law from 2001 to 2004 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. During their time at law school, they specialized in Intellectual Property Law.
