Jonathan Zalach

Jonathan Zalach has had a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Jonathan began their career in 2014 as the Founder of Jita Option Algotrade, where they developed an algorithm with positive ROI with machine learning and recruited people for the company. In 2017, they began working as a Data Scientist and Kaggle competitor for Kaggle, and as Chief Data Scientist for GetHiGrade, where they built neural architecture search with reinforcement learning, worked with deep learning architectures for classification, object detection and segmentation, and worked extensively with image preprocessing algorithms. In 2018, they became the Lead Data Scientist for Appload Software Solutions Ltd. and in 2019 they were appointed Chief Data Scientist for AID Genomics. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded Imagene, where they are currently the Chief Data Scientist.

Jonathan Zalach completed their BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they studied Physics and Chemistry at Daliot, Nofei Golan from 1995 to 2006.
