Jane Tang

Jane Tang has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jane is currently the Co-founder and Chief Data Scientist at The Futurist Group since January 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal at Bootstrap Analytics starting from October 2018. From April 2016 to October 2018, Jane served as the SVP, Advanced Analytics at Maru/Matchbox. Before that, they held multiple roles at Vision Critical, including SVP, Advanced Analytics from January 2010 to March 2016, and VP, Analytical Intelligence from October 2006 to December 2009. Jane also worked as the VP, Marketing Sciences at Ipsos Insight/Ipsos Reid until September 2006. Jane started their career in 1994 at Angus Reid Group and held positions such as Manager, Data Services and Senior Data Analyst. Overall, Jane has extensive experience in data science, analytics, and market research.

Jane Tang attended the University of Michigan in 1998, where they participated in the Statistics, Sampling Program for Survey Statistician. Prior to this, in 1994, they earned a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Manitoba. Before their master's degree, from 1989 to 1993, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Statistics at the University of Manitoba.
