Senior Principal CPU Design Engineer at Imagination Technologies

Jack Andrew began their work experience as a Graduate Design and Verification Engineer at Arm in September 2013. Jack rotated around the company gaining experience in various roles, including Core Functional Coverage Closure on Cortex-M7 and ARM Research. In January 2015, they transitioned to the role of CPU Design Engineer at Arm. Jack was later promoted to Senior CPU Design Engineer in July 2016. In September 2018, Jack was promoted again, this time to Staff CPU Design Engineer, while leading the design of the Cortex-M55 M-profile Vector Extensions (MVE). Jack also served as the Principal CPU Design Engineer at Arm, where they were a deputy Technical Lead and part of a leadership team for a next-generation Cortex-M CPU. Additionally, they provided technical expertise and assessment for a next-generation Cortex-A CPU. In 2021, Jack joined Imagination Technologies as a Senior Principal CPU Design Engineer, where they served as the Technical Lead for the IMG RTXM-2200 CPU. Jack also led the development of a next-generation IMG RISC-V CPU.

Jack Andrew completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electronic Engineering at the University of Southampton from 2009 to 2013.
