Kate Pleasants

Kate Pleasants serves as the Partnership Engagement Manager at Imagine Learning since October 2023, with a notable progression through various engagement roles within the company. Prior to this position, Kate held multiple educational and consultancy roles at TNTP, BetterLesson, Leading Educators, and EL Education between May and October 2023. Formerly, Kate gained substantial teaching experience as a Fifth and Sixth Grade Writing Teacher at Jacksonville Country Day School, achieving above-average student performance rankings, and as a Third Grade ELA and Social Studies Teacher at KIPP New Orleans, where technical support and collaboration with content teams were essential. Earlier teaching roles included founding a Fifth Grade ELA program at Success Academy Charter Schools and serving as an Integrated Co-Teacher for grades 2-4. Kate's professional foundation includes internships focused on vocational education for refugees, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Classic Civilizations from Colby College and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Touro University.
