Hassan Bella

Hassan Bella is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in tropical child health. Since September 1997, Hassan has served as a Professor at the University of Dammam, College of Medicine, while also holding the position of Editor in Chief at the World Association of Medical Editors from March 2013 to December 2014. Previous roles include Director at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2007 to 2013 and Director at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Sudan, between 1980 and 1982. Hassan's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tropical Child Health and a Master of Science (MSc) in Maternal and Child Health from the University of London, along with a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the Royal College of Physicians and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum.
