Jeremy Stern

Jeremy Stern is the current Editor in Chief at Colossus, a position held since 2025. Prior to this role, Stern served as Deputy Editor at Tablet Magazine from 2021 to 2025. Experience also includes a tenure as Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State between 2019 and 2020 and as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer in the U.S. Army from 2014 to 2019. Stern began a career in writing at The American Interest, contributing as a Staff Writer from 2012 to 2014. Academically, Stern holds a BA in Russian Language and Literature from Kenyon College, earned between 2007 and 2011, and also attended Saint Petersburg State University from 2009 to 2010.
