Jeremy Stern

Jeremy Stern currently serves as Editor in Chief at Colossus, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Jeremy was the Deputy Editor at Tablet Magazine from January 2021 to December 2025 and served as a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State from January 2019 to December 2020. Jeremy's military experience includes five years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer in the US Army, from January 2014 to December 2019. Earlier in Jeremy's career, a position as a Staff Writer at The American Interest was held from January 2012 to December 2014. Jeremy completed a BA in Russian Language and Literature at Kenyon College in 2011 and also studied at Saint Petersburg State University during the 2009-2010 academic year.
