Emily Chenette

Emily Chenette is currently the Editor In Chief at PLOS ONE, building on their extensive experience in editorial positions at various scientific journals such as The FEBS Journal and Nature Publishing Group. Prior to their editorial roles, Emily conducted research as a postdoctoral researcher at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and also gained experience as an undergraduate assistant at Columbia University. Emily holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Biochemistry from Columbia University.
