Jason Buehler

Jason Buehler is a Senior Scientist at Imanis Life Sciences, LLC, since November 2019, specializing in the development and characterization of oncolytic viruses. Previously, Jason served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The BIO5 Institute from September 2013 to October 2019, focusing on virus-host interactions related to Human cytomegalovirus, with research expertise in virology, molecular biology, and cellular biology. Jason's academic journey began at Iowa State University, where a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Microbiology was obtained between 2007 and 2013 while working as both a Graduate and Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Eileen Thacker in the department of Veterinary Microbiology and Preventative Medicine.
