Shehzad Hoosein

Shehzad Hoosein began their work experience as a Summer Intern at PepsiCo - Frito Lay in 1998. Shehzad then worked as a Process Engineer at Joseph E. Seagrams and Sons from 2000 to 2003. Shehzad held various roles at Diageo, including Whiskey Category Manager, Director of Operations Business Services, Director of Science and Technology, and Program Director of NA Whiskey Strategy. From 2015 to 2023, Shehzad worked at Cannabistry, where they served as Vice President of Research and Development, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Strategic Advisor. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of R&D and Innovation at Imbibe.

Shehzad Hoosein obtained an M.B.A. in Finance, Strategy and Operations Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 1995 to 2000. Shehzad had also previously attended St. Xavier's College from 1993 to 1995, earning an HSC degree in Science.
