Ian Liew

Ian Liew has extensive experience in quantitative trading and financial markets, currently serving as a Quantitative Trader at IMC Financial Markets since August 2016, specializing in ultra high frequency options and futures. Prior experience includes working as an Options Trader at Volant Trading, focusing on high frequency options market making, and an internship in portfolio management and trading at Dimensional Fund Advisors. Ian began a career in finance with internships at Index Fund Advisors, Yeoman Capital Management, and DBS Vickers Securities, alongside earlier roles in crew operations, event coordination, and military service as an Infantry Sergeant. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in General Honors, Mathematics, and Economics from the University of Chicago and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent).
