Timothy Hall has a diverse work experience across multiple companies and industries. Timothy started their career at Logica, where they worked as a Senior Analyst in the defense and utilities divisions. During this time, they were involved in the design and development of intelligent programs for controlling synthetic forces and in the development of an Integrated Planning and Oil Production Forecasting system.
Timothy then moved on to Salomon Brothers International Limited, where they worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer. In this role, they were responsible for Java development and served as a technical team leader in the development of an automated corporate action system.
After that, Hall joined Anvil (now ION Trading) as a Senior Consultant. Here, they specialized in the implementation and integration of repo trading systems for investment bank trading desks. Timothy led various projects, including the integration of a repo trading system within ING Financial Markets and the management of client relationships in the New York office.
Hall then worked at TMNS as a Senior Consultant, focusing on business analysis and project management for Fortis Bank. Timothy successfully delivered two of the largest sub-projects within the strategic program aimed at creating a new prime brokerage business.
Following their time at TMNS, Hall joined Fortis Bank as a Senior Project Manager. Timothy played a key role in the technology management team and was responsible for the implementation of a position management system, delivery of a prime brokerage reporting portal, and the central reference data system.
Hall then joined IMC Financial Markets, initially working as a Project Manager. Here, they led various projects, including the global implementation of a VaR calculation system and the introduction of a Data Warehouse into the IMC Trading environment.
Timothy later took on several leadership roles at IMC, including Global Head of Data Warehouse development team, Global Head of Shared Services, and Head of IMC Asset Management IT Department. In these roles, they managed teams responsible for IT infrastructure, back office systems, and data warehouse development. Timothy also led global initiatives, such as introducing a global mid-office system and making IMC Asset Management compliant with AIFMD reporting requirements.
Throughout their career, Timothy Hall has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and technical skills, working on diverse projects and delivering successful outcomes.
Timothy Hall has a diverse educational background. From 1992 to 1995, they attended the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Honors in Chemistry. Timothy further pursued their education at The University of Manchester from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science.
In addition to their academic achievements, Timothy has also obtained certifications in various fields. In April 2001, they earned an IAQ certification from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Later, in April 2009, they obtained a Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
