William Fan

Quantitative Trading Intern at IMC Trading

William Fan is a quantitative trading intern at IMC Trading since June 2023. Previously, William served as a teaching assistant for the CIS121: Data Structures and Algorithms course at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2021 to December 2022. William has also gained experience as a software engineer intern at AQR Capital Management, focusing on event-driven arbitrage, and as a physics research intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where the work centered on software defined radio for passive coherent location. Additionally, William was a computer science research intern at Duke University, contributing to published work in IJCAI '20. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Networked and Social Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, complemented by education at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 2018 to 2020.
