Joseph F. Helfrich Pe

Joseph F. Helfrich, PE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and leadership positions. Most recently, they have served as the Vice President of R&D and Technology at IMCORP since February 2020. Prior to that, they established their own consulting firm, JFHelfrich PE LLC, where they operated as the Principal starting in January 2018. In 2017, they were the President of RPA INC.

From 2014 to 2016, Joseph held the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager at CTB, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Company. Before that, they were the General Manager of Surface Extraction Products at Caterpillar Inc. from 2006 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, Joseph held various leadership roles at DTE / Bodine Corporation (2000-2006), Comau LLC (1996-2000), Hulmes Transportation Services, LTD (1989-1996), and Alcoa (1980-1989), where they had successive leadership positions.

Joseph F. Helfrich, PE has a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University, which they obtained from 1976 to 1980. Later, they pursued a master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit Mercy between 1997 and 1999. In addition to their educational background, they have also obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Caterpillar Inc. in 2012. Furthermore, they are a Registered Professional Engineer, accredited by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which they achieved in September 1991.
