Kevin Vandenplas

Kevin Vandenplas currently serves as the R&D PMO Manager at imec since August 2025. Previously held the position of Global PMO Lead at Umicore from February 2024 to August 2025, focusing on digitalization and business IT leadership within Umicore Battery Materials. Prior to that, Kevin worked at Volkswagen D'Ieteren Finance from August 2012 to February 2024, where involvement in the Business Transformation Office included managing project portfolio processes to support VDFin's strategic objectives. Experience spans roles in project management, financial oversight, business analysis, and client advisory, supplemented by consultancy work at Computer Task Group and Coralius. Kevin's academic background includes a Master’s degree in European Studies from KU Leuven and an MBA from EHSAL Management School.
