Pierre Gassot

Pierre Gassot has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the semiconductor industry. Pierre started their career at Alcatel Microelectronics in 1998 as a Technology Project Leader, where they worked until 2001. Pierre then joined AMI Semiconductor in 2002, serving as a Technology Project Leader and later as a Team Manager for Non Volatile Memories Technology Integration. In 2008, Pierre moved to ON Semiconductor, where they held multiple positions, including Manager R&D Programs, Team Manager for Technology Integration & Characterization, and Director of R&D. In 2022, they joined imec as a Business Director and Team Lead for Specialty Devices, Foundries & GaN.

Pierre Gassot obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) between 1993 and 1997. Prior to this, they completed a DEA in Solid State Physics at the same university between 1991 and 1992. Pierre also holds a DESS degree in Electronics & Computing from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, which they completed between 1997 and 1998. In 2007 and 2008, Pierre pursued an MBA at Vlerick Business School. Lastly, they completed an Executive Master in Finance at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in 2009 and 2010.
