iMentor seeks a highly skilled and experienced financial planning and analysis professional with 5-7 numbers of years of experience to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of FP&A, will play a vital role in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making and drive business growth. Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee the execution of robust financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support both short-term and long-term financial planning. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to assist management in making informed strategic decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, assess risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Development Partnership: Work closely with development teams to develop and create fundable projects and funder specific budgets, maximizing funding opportunities with our funders.
  • Diversifying Revenue: Partner with the national business development team to create a revenue-generating model that maximizes our earned income for future partners.
  • Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with senior leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, tracking business performance against financial targets. Continuously monitor and analyze financial and operational results, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions to optimize performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Create financial packages for the quarterly finance committee and board meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 5-7 years proven experience in FP&A or related roles.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning principles, budgeting processes, and performance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/systems. Experience with Adaptive Insights is a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary $115,000-130,000 annually, commensurate with experience
