Semih Uygunturk

Semih Uygunturk is a seasoned professional in digital transformation and data architecture, currently serving as the Global OT Data Architect at Imerys since June 2022. In this role, Semih focuses on creating and updating equipment and production line data models using UML and OPC UA Information Modeling, while also designing IT OT data platform architecture and determining infrastructure needs. Prior to this position, Semih worked as a Digital Transformation Specialist at SOCAR Türkiye, managing various digital transformation projects, and as a Digital Transformation Architect at Schneider Electric, where responsibilities included defining digitalization project needs and conducting customer site audits. Semih also has experience as an End User Solution Sales Engineer at Schneider Electric and as an IIoT Project Engineer at WAGO TÜRKİYE. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Big Data and Business Analytics from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor's degree from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
