Devon Copley

Devon Copley has a wealth of experience in the tech industry. Devon began their career in 1997 as a Multimedia Web Programmer for ABC News. Devon then co-founded and served as CTO of Interocity, an interactive design and development firm, which was acquired by Chyron in 1997. From 2006-2007, they were a Research Fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where they performed early-stage specification development for Professor Terry Fisher's Digital Media Exchange. In 2007, they were the first employee of Noank Media, a startup spun out of Harvard to provide a comprehensive solution to the problem of unlicensed content on the Internet. Devon also served as a Business Development Consultant for Wordnik Society, where they worked with the executive team on business development and product strategy. In 2010, they joined Kaltura, where they held several roles, including Managing Director of Media and Entertainment and VP of Channels and Strategic Partnerships/VP Customer Success. From 2015-2018, they were Head of Product, VR Platform at Nokia Technologies, where they led the product management team for the OZO software platform and was co-inventor on four patent applications. In 2018, they co-founded Avatour, a remote collaboration platform for site visits, where they currently serve as Co-Founder and CEO.

Devon Copley attended Yale University from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a BA in Computer Science. Devon then attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2009 to 2010, where they earned an MS in Business.
