Marco Salcedo

Marco Salcedo has been working in the software engineering industry since 2010. Marco started their career at IBM as a Software Group - CSC Business Developer, Sales Ops & POC Manager, GLT Software Group Focal, Loan Coordinator, Global Ordering Service TAAS CSR, GOMS US Dispatcher, Client Advocate for Internals & OEM/FOT Support, and Integrated Supply Chain Intern. In 2020, Salcedo moved to Hypercube as a Software Engineer - Co-Founder, where they worked on building a React-Redux front-end paired up with a Node/MongoDB, AWS-hosted, back-end. Marco then moved to Hawaii United Okinawan Association as a React Developer. Currently, Salcedo is working at imgix as a Software Engineer - FrontEnd, where they are working to raise the intrinsic value of every image on the Internet by building the world’s largest distributed image processing pipeline.

Marco Salcedo obtained a Bachelor in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2010. In 2008-2009, they attended ESSEC BBA for International Business, focusing on Negotiations and Commerce. From 2016-2018, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from EGADE Business School, specializing in Strategic Corporate Finance. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Global Business Professional certification from NASBITE International in May 2011, and is an IBM Agile Explorer.
