Rafael Del Rey

Rafael Del Rey is a data scientist and machine learning engineer who has worked on some of the largest Portuguese language models to date. Rafael is currently the co-founder of imMail, a company that provides email marketing services. Prior to their current role, they served as a senior machine learning engineer at Gupy, where they developed models for named entity recognition, created a human resources transformer model, and developed a system for candidate recommendation. Rafael has also worked as a principal data scientist at BMC Software, where they used machine learning and mathematical optimization to develop a system for optimizing the cost and speed of orchestrated computer workflows. Rafael has a strong background in Python, data science, and machine learning, and is skilled in data analysis, big data, and cloud computing.

Rafael Del Rey is a doctor of philosophy who specializes in organic chemistry. Rafael attended Universidade Estadual de Campinas for their PhD and Master of Science. Rafael also attended Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro for their Bachelor of Pharmacy. In addition, they have a certification from LinkedIn in Amazon Web Services Machine Learning Essential Training.
