Ankita Patel

Ankita Patel has extensive experience in the field of biomedical science, currently serving as CLIA Director at Immatics Biotechnologies since May 2016. Previous roles include Clinical Cytogeneticist at Lineagen from October 2017 to January 2019, and Laboratory Director at both Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons from September 2016 to November 2017 and Baylor College of Medicine from July 2002 to September 2016. Ankita began a career in academia as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University from July 1999 to June 2002. Education credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Science obtained from Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University between 1985 and 1998.
