Christine Herman

Christine Herman is currently an advisor at Immersive Labs. Christine has also held positions at Noname Security, Finance of America, Pilot Security, and SafeBreach. Christine Herman has been in the field of security for over 10 years. Christine started their career as a risk manager for a risk management firm. Christine then transitioned to the United States Department of Defense where they became a technical director. After 5 years with the Department of Defense, they moved to Morgan Stanley where they became the global head of operational assurance. In June of 2020, they joined Pilot Security as Head of Strategy. In Q1 2022, the company was successfully acquired by a third party.

Christine Herman pursued a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from University at Buffalo. Christine went on to complete specialized coursework in network security from the Naval Postgraduate School. Herman also completed advanced cyber operations from the Department of Defense. Lastly, they attained a certification from the SANS Institute in GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN).
