Stuart Laidlaw

VP, Customer Success at Immersive Labs

Stuart Laidlaw is currently the VP of Customer Success at Immersive Labs. Stuart has previous experience as a Co-founder & CEO of Cyberlytic, Senior Manager of FCDO Services, Senior Bid Manager of Fujitsu Technology Solutions, and Technical Project Manager of National Crime Agency (NCA).

Laidlaw co-founded Cyberlytic in 2013. The company developed an AI-based approach to detect and prevent web-based attacks, such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting. As CEO, Stuart led all day-to-day business operations and dealt with all investment and business development aspects. Stuart was successful in raising £1M investment from institutional and private investors, and over £500k in UK government grant funding.

In 2011, Stuart took on a senior interim role with FCDO Services with responsibility for winning and delivering international ICT projects. Stuart managed strategically important bids and had oversight of business critical projects. The following year they became Senior Bid Manager with Fujitsu Technology Solutions. In this role they were responsible for leading bids for major contracts and accounts with a value in excess of £200m per annum.

Most recently, Stuart was a Technical Project Manager with the National Crime Agency (NCA). In this role they were responsible for the delivery of ICT systems and software to support the NCA’s work in tackling serious and organized crime.

Stuart Laidlaw attended Beal Hiigh School before completing a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hull. Stuart then went on to attend the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed their Entrepreneur Development Programme (EDP).

They are on a team with Matt Knutsen - Chief Revenue Officer, Alice Dunn - General Counsel, and Stuart Goldblatt - CFO. Stuart Laidlaw reports to James Hadley, CEO.
