Xavi Gonzalez Sans

Xavi Gonzalez Sans has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Xavi is currently working as a Senior System Operations Engineer at Immfly since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at ITnow, where they held two roles. Xavi started as an Operation Manager in July 2019 and transitioned to a Network Automation Engineer - LAN Service in January 2020, staying with the company until December 2021.

Before joining ITnow, Xavi worked as a Software Engineer at FDM Group from August 2016 to June 2017. There, they underwent software development training and gained expertise in professional skills, SQL, and software engineering.

In 2015, Xavi worked as a Junior Engineer at Fractus Antennas, where they performed tasks such as conducting antenna audits, producing stock, and adapting impedances of the company's antennas to different frequency ranges.

From 2014 to 2015, Xavi worked as a Teaching Assistant at La Salle Campus Barcelona. Xavi was responsible for designing software practices, resolving student doubts, correcting assessments, and developing applications in JAVA.

Xavi Gonzalez Sans has a diverse education history. In 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from La Salle BCN, specializing in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones. Xavi then went on to pursue further studies and from 2017 to 2019, they completed a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering with a specialization in Networks & Internet from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN.

In 2019, Xavi attended Eindhoven University of Technology for a short period to work on their Master thesis, focusing on SDN (Software Definition Controller). That same year, they also participated in the Cisco Networking Academy's Cisco Incubator Program.

Continuing with their education, in 2020, Xavi enrolled in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, which is currently ongoing.

To supplement their education, Xavi has obtained various certifications. In January 2020, they completed the CCNA Course from Cisco, and in September 2014, they achieved the CCNA 1 - Introduction to Networks certification from the Cisco Networking Academy. Further, they received the certificate of Understanding of Cisco Network Devices from Cisco in February 2020. To enhance their programming skills, Xavi obtained the [PCAP-NP-31-02] PCAP – Certified Associate in Python Programming certification from the Python Institute in July 2020. Xavi also holds certifications in Cisco networking, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching), Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, and Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist - Enterprise Automation and Programmability, which were obtained in October 2021.

Additionally, Xavi has completed several other certifications unrelated to networking, such as the IELTS 7.5 from the British Council in June 2017 and the First Certificate Exam and Certificate Advanced Exam from Cambridge English Language Assessment in December 2012 and 2014, respectively. Xavi also participated in the IBM Garage Methodology Explorer certification program offered by IBM in March 2021. Moreover, they completed the Automation with Ansible Playbook certification from Udemy in July 2021.
