Ian MacGillivray

Ian MacGillivray is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience in providing business counselling and support to immigrants at the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia since October 2012. In this role, MacGillivray conducts needs assessments, sets goals with action plans, connects clients to vital resources, and assists in creating marketing and business plans. Prior to this position, MacGillivray served as Vice President of Financial Administration at MaMe Maternity Inc from 2000 to 2012 and held the role of President/Partner at Avenue Business Campuses Ltd from 1990 to 2000, where strategic steps were implemented to address challenges in the educational sector while enhancing staff and student performance. MacGillivray holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Concordia University.
