Joanna Starczynowski

Joanna Starczynowski has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joanna has served as a Board Member at the Immigrant Services Society of BC since September 2018. Joanna is also a Member of the Board of Directors at the M. Kopernik Foundation since June 2018. In addition, Joanna has worked as a Business Mentor at the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship - Caribbean since May 2017. Prior to these roles, Joanna served as a Board Director, Business Mentor, and Member of the MAS Advisory Board at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Joanna was also the President, Consultant, and Business and Leadership Instructor at Star Ventures Enterprises Ltd DBA Svel-Kava Management Group. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Mortgage Planning Specialist at Investors Group, a Mortgage Advisor at CIBC, and held multiple positions including Mortgage Specialist and Receivables Manager at RBC.

Joanna Starczynowski completed a Mortgage Broker degree at UBC Sauder School of Business in 2012. Joanna also undertook various professional development courses at RBC (Bank), focusing on Administration, Interpersonal Communications, Marketing, CRM, AML, KYC, CDD. Additionally, they pursued certificate programs at UBC, BCIT, and Capilano University, specializing in Business, Business Law, Business English, and Psychology.
