Vatt Suyavong has extensive work experience in various roles within the Canadian government. Starting in 2001, Vatt worked as a Database Administrator for the Department of National Defence until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, Vatt served as a Team Leader and Senior Technical Specialist at the Canadian International Development Agency. Following this, Vatt joined Indigenous Services Canada, where they held multiple positions, including Manager of Data and Database Administration, Acting Director of Application Development, Data and Database Administration, and Director of Application Development, Database and Data Administration. Vatt's most recent role was as the Director of Innovation, Engagement, and Enterprise Architecture. Currently, Vatt is working as the Acting Senior Director of the Digital Strategy and Project Delivery Directorate at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.
Vatt Suyavong attended the University of Ottawa from 1994 to 1997. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, although the specific field of study is not mentioned.
