Jaewoo Lee has extensive work experience in the field of bio-pharmaceutical research, with a focus on immuno-oncology. In 2008, they joined Duke University as an Assistant Professor, where they worked until 2021. During their time at Duke University, they contributed to research in the field and played a role in teaching and mentoring students. In 2021, they joined Luye Pharma USA - Geneleap Biotech as a Senior Investigator, where they continued their research work. In 2022, they moved on to Luye Pharma USA/Geneleap Bio as a Scientific Director, and later that year, they took on the role of Senior Director and Head of Immuno Oncology Research at IMMORNA. Jaewoo Lee began their education in 1989 at Korea University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, General. Jaewoo completed their undergraduate studies in 1996. Following this, Lee attended Buffalo State University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Medical Technology. Jaewoo then continued their educational journey at the State University of New York at Buffalo/Roswell Park Cancer Institute from 1999 to 2004, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology/Immunology.
