Roxana Jalili

Principal Scientist at Immucor

Roxana Jalili has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and engineering. Roxana has held various roles at different companies and institutions.

Starting in 1999, Jalili worked as a Process Engineer at EIED, where they designed and tested experiments for pilot plants and oil refinery applications.

In 2004, they joined Stanford University as a Graduate Student in Chemical Engineering. During their time there, they conducted research projects focused on protein detection, high-throughput cloning, and next-generation DNA sequencing. Roxana also worked as a Life Science Research Assistant at the Stanford Genome Technology Center, where they designed and expressed genes related to neurological disorders and managed a high-throughput sequencing pipeline.

In 2010, Jalili briefly worked as a Unit Operation Laboratory Instructor at San Jose State University, before returning to Stanford as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Medicine. Roxana worked under the supervision of Ron Davis and conducted research in their lab.

Since 2017, Jalili has been working at Immucor, Inc. Initially, they started as a Research Scientist and later advanced to the position of Senior Research Scientist. Currently, they hold the role of Principal Scientist.
