Yasuhiro Tabata has over 18 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. From 2003 to 2008, they were a Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. From 2008 to 2010, they were an Associate Director Medical Affairs at Abbott. From 2010 to 2019, they were a Senior Clinical Study Director, Medical Operations, Japan Country Head, Head of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs, and Medical Director, Clinical Research at Sanofi Genzyme. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Senior Medical Director at X4 Pharmaceuticals. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Vice President Clinical Development at Magenta Therapeutics and a Sr Vice President Clinical Research at Cugene Inc. Currently, they are Vice President Clinical Development at Immune-Onc Therapeutics.
Yasuhiro Tabata obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine between 1986 and 1992, and their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Hematology from the same institution between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they obtained a Medical License from the Ministry of Health and Welfare in May 1992, and an Organizational LEADer Program certification from Harvard Business Publishing Education in December 2014.
