Giridharan Appaswamy

Giridharan Appaswamy possesses extensive experience in the field of immunology and oncology, currently serving as a Process Developer at Immuneel Therapeutics Pvt. Ltd. since July 2024. Prior to this role, Giridharan worked as a Product Development Specialist at Karkinos Healthcare and held various positions at CORE Diagnostics, including Head of Research and Development. Within LifeCell International Pvt. Ltd., notable roles included Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Research & Development Department. With expertise in cancer immunotherapy, particularly dendritic cells immunotherapy, and stem cell biology, Giridharan also contributed to oncology research and cancer biomarkers as Principal Scientist at Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research. Additionally, post-doctoral studies were completed at Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, and a PhD in Immunology was obtained from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
