Alexandra Herrmann

Alexandra Herrmann currently serves as Manager of Translational Pharmacology and Program Manager of Virology at Immunic Therapeutics since August 2022. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and managing the antiviral program, overseeing mode of action studies, identifying drug candidates, preparing scientific presentations, writing grants, and attending scientific conferences. Prior to this, Alexandra Herrmann was a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Institute of Clinical and Molecular Virology from September 2014 to July 2022, focusing on SARS-CoV-2 and herpesviruses research, and acquiring extensive experience in virology and immunology techniques. Alexandra Herrmann holds a Master of Science in Cell Biology and Molecular Biology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Bayreuth.
