Femke Sanders

Femke Sanders is currently the Head of Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance at Immunic Therapeutics since April 2024. Prior to this role, Femke held various positions in regulatory affairs at ISA Pharmaceuticals, including Director and Associate Director from October 2020 to April 2024. Femke served as Global Regulatory Affairs Manager at ProQR Therapeutics NV from August 2019 to October 2020 and worked at Genzyme Europe B.V. from May 2015 to August 2019 as both Project Manager RA for neurology and ophthalmology and Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate. Earlier experience includes serving as Regulatory Affairs Manager at Merial, A Sanofi Company, and various veterinary roles, including equine veterinarian at Animal Embryo Centre and Dubai Equine Hospital. Femke earned a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from Utrecht University, where studies were completed between 2000 and 2007, following a propedeuse in Biology at the same institution.
