Franziska Buriánek

Dr. Franziska Buriánek has a range of work experience in the medical field. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Helios Amper-Klinikum Dachau. Franziska then moved to Augustinum Hospital, where they worked as a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine and Cardiology from 2010 to 2017. In 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at a Specialist Practice. Franziska then joined Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2019 as a Clinical Research Physician specializing in Cardiology. In 2021, they transitioned to Immunic Therapeutics, first as a Medical Director from July 2021 to December 2022, and then as a Senior Medical Director starting in January 2023.

Dr. Franziska Buriánek earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they also obtained their Promotion (Dr.med.). Franziska holds additional certifications including Professional Certification in Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics from Biopharma Institute and Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology from Bayerische Landesärztekammer. Franziska has also completed the HMX Fundamentals online certificate program in Immunology from Harvard Medical School.
