Helen Luu

Helen Luu oversees ImmunityBio’s global commercialization strategy. In her role as Chief Commercial Officer, she brings more than 16 years of experience in multichannel and specialty biotech operations to the design and execution of the company’s planned rapid expansion into the oncology and urology markets. Thriving in rapidly-changing , highly competitive environments with a focus on sales optimization and driving corporate revenue, Luu is also responsible for establishing key external alliances to support the company long-term commercial success.

Luu joined ImmunityBio from Cell BT, where she was CEO after having served as its Chief Operating Officer. She was responsible for directing the company’s strategic positioning and operations, as well as expanding the scope of its pipeline. Prior to Cell BT, Luu was head of business development at Dendreon, the developer of the first therapeutic vaccine approved in the U.S. for the treatment of prostate cancer. During her tenure at Dendreon, she held various commercial leadership roles and responsibilities, including the successful launch of the national urologic oncology hospital sales team to strategically accelerate revenue growth. Luu began her biotech career at Gilead Sciences and was the top sales contributor for three consecutive years.
