Alexander Kertser began their career in 2015 as a Science Writer for the Davidson Institute of Science Education. In 2017, they joined ImmunoBrain Checkpoint as a Pipeline and Discovery Project Leader, R&D Project Manager, and Scientific Advisor.

Alexander Kertser obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2011, majoring in Chemistry and Biology. Alexander then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroimmunology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, which they completed in 2013. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroimmunology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2018.
