Andreas Konieczny

Andreas Konieczny serves as the VP & Head of Medical Affairs Europe at ImmunoGen, Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Andreas was VP and Medical Director of Oncology Europe at GSK, where leadership included overseeing multiple oncology areas and successfully launching new products. At TESARO, Andreas held the position of Senior Medical Director for DACH, contributing to significant product launches across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Previous experience also includes leading New Product Planning in Oncology at Daiichi Sankyo Europe, serving as Managing Partner at a strategy consulting boutique, and directing Global Medical Affairs at Bayer Schering Pharma. Andreas co-founded SiREEN AG while in medical school, acquiring significant venture capital funding, and completed an MD with residency training in oncology and internal medicine at Ludwigs-Maximilians-University of Munich. Education includes advanced studies at UC San Diego and the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
