Christine Eng

Senior Computational Biologist at ImmunoScape

Christine Eng has a background in computational biology and extensive experience in managing and analyzing biological data. Christine is currently working as a Senior Computational Biologist at ImmunoScape. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Fellow at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, where they led computational biology efforts in large collaborative projects focused on investigating cancer structure, tumor microenvironment, and immune infiltration patterns using multi-omics data.

Before that, Christine was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Genome Institute of Singapore, where they achieved recognition for developing a machine learning model to predict high-risk Multiple Myeloma patients based on gene expression data. Christine also participated in large-scale pan-cancer transcriptomics analysis projects and applied machine learning techniques to electronic health records.

Additionally, Christine has held positions at the National University of Singapore, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant. In these roles, they conducted research studies, coordinated clinical trials, and updated and analyzed colorectal cancer databases. Earlier in their career, they gained industry experience at Merck Millipore as a Data Analyst Intern and a Business Support Executive.

Christine Eng completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from the National University of Singapore from 2007 to 2011. Christine then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioinformatics, also at the National University of Singapore, from 2013 to 2017.
