MZ Goodman has an extensive work history in the digital product and consumer experience space. In 2003, they began their career as the Vice President, Director of Production at Deutsch. Following that, they moved to The New York Times | nytimes.com in 2007 as the Executive Director, Product Management. In 2013, they became the Senior Director, Product Management at Ralph Lauren. In 2015, they joined goop as the Vice President, Product Management, Design and User Experience. In 2016, they became the Founder and CEO of BASE and the Founder & Principal Consultant of content + commerce. In 2017, they joined Glossier as the Vice President, Product Management & Business Insights. In 2019, they became the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at charity: water. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Impact Bioenergy as the CXO Strategic Advisor.

MZ Goodman obtained a BS in Journalism from Boston University, a Certificate of Business Excellence from Columbia Business School, and a Partners in Policymaking certification from Cornell University.
