POSITION IDENTIFICATION

Title: On- Site General Laborer

Business Unit: iManufacture

Reports to: Production Supervisor and Team Leader

Target Start Date: Immediately

POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge and experience in the trades.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Essential skills

  • Knowing and understanding blueprints, building plans and specifications
  • Rough carpentry framing
  • Finish carpentry framing
  • Rough & finish plumbing
  • Installing windows and exterior doors
  • Clean and inspect work
  • Helping erect scaffoldings and/or
  • Install hardware on doors, windows, and
  • Patch and texture drywall
  • Caulking and touching up
  • Installing cabinetry, millwork, and interior doors
  • Finish plumbing & electrical
  • Painting
  • Install and connect
  • Clean and inspect work
  • Supervise work done by internal

Education:

  • High School Diploma preferred but not

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Extensive knowledge of power
  • Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
  • Knowledge of lumber grades, hardware, rough & finish materials

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of power
  • Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor and Senior Managers
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
  • Ability to use hand tools and power
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Home improvement, construction, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, site planning experience preferred.
  • Must have reliable
  • This position will be driving to different project

Modular experience a plus

  

Work Authorization

  • All prospective Impact Housing employees need to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 80 lbs.; includes body weight, equipment, tools, and boxes.

  • Competitive salary range of $18-$19 hourly depending on experience.
