Alex Carneiro

Alex Carneiro is an experienced academic and professional in the fields of data science and machine learning. Currently serving as a Professor at Faculdade Impacta Tecnologia since August 2018, Alex teaches courses in data mining, computing theory, and programming while also leading research projects for undergraduate students. In addition, Alex works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Proxify, focusing on enhancing development and deployment of machine learning models. Previous roles include Data Science Specialist at ClearSale, where Alex contributed to biometric anti-fraud solutions, and Data Scientist at HOOBOX ROBOTICS, developing computer vision components. Alex holds a PhD in Computer Science from Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo and has a background in teleinformatics engineering with both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Ceara.
