Kearabetswe Mabe

Kearabetswe Mabe is an accomplished Operations Engineer at Implats since May 2014, specializing in the maintenance and management of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems for various operational infrastructures, including compressors and refrigeration plants. Notable for successful multimillion Rand project execution and budget management exceeding R60 million, Kearabetswe has held several engineering roles, including oversight of vertical shaft infrastructure and production levels. Previous positions include serving as President of the Association of Mine Resident Engineers of South Africa and roles in academia and research at institutions such as the University of Pretoria and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
