Mariam Matiashvili

Mariam Matiashvili started their work experience in 2014 as a Linguist Annotator at the Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics - Natural Language Processing Department. Mariam then moved on to work as a Linguist Annotator at the Empirical linguistics Department - Goethe University Frankfurt Am Main from an unknown start date to 2015. In 2017, Mariam joined Pulsar AI as a Computational Linguistic Specialist and later became an AI Conversation Design Team Lead until 2021. In 2021, they joined Impel as an AI Conversation Design Team Lead and eventually took on roles as an Associate Product Manager, Product Manager, and currently serves as the Product Director, AI Platform.

Mariam Matiashvili obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in General and Applied Linguistics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2015. Mariam then pursued a Master's degree in General and Applied Linguistics at the same university from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Mariam enrolled in a PhD program in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, which they completed in 2022.

Mariam also attended several summer programs at Leipzig University, including the European Summer University in Digital Humanities with a focus on "Culture & Technology" in 2017. Mariam returned to Leipzig University in 2018 and 2019 for additional summer programs related to Digital Humanities and Culture & Technology.

In terms of additional certifications, Mariam obtained certificates in BPMN for business analyst, Project Management, Introduction to Project Management - Practical and Real World, and Introduction to Python Programming Course. These certifications were obtained in the year 2020 from institutions such as Udemy and the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA).

Most recently, Mariam is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Modern Technology at BTU • Business and Technology University from 2020 to 2023.
