Donald, Jr Zelenak

Donald, Jr Zelenak has extensive work experience in the field of CyberSecurity and network management. Donald, Jr started their career in 2005 as a Sr. Network Manager for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, where they were responsible for network design and maintenance for a large non-profit organization. In 2016, they joined Impelix as a Senior Architect, where they gained expertise in working with new and advanced technologies, specifically Check Point firewall infrastructure. Donald, Jr also worked on projects in various industries, including non-profit, manufacturing, private equity, financial services, and bio-tech. Later, they became the Professional Services Manager at Impelix, leading a team of CyberSecurity Engineers and driving solutions for global clients. Donald, Jr has successfully delivered projects of all sizes, including global M&A initiatives, and is experienced in leading the organization as it grows and becomes a leading Next-Gen CyberSecurity Integrator.

Donald, Jr Zelenak attended Illinois Valley Community College from 1999 to 2000, where they studied Computer Networking. Donald, Jr did not obtain a degree during this period. In addition to their college education, they have obtained several certifications in the field of cybersecurity. In 2015, they became a Check Point Certified Security Administrator through Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. In 2016, they achieved the Check Point Certified Security Expert certification from the same institution. In 2017, they obtained the Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification from Palo Alto Networks. Most recently, in 2020, they received the PCNSE 9.1 certification from Palo Alto Networks as well.
