Arthur Vanderschooten

Arthur Vanderschooten is an experienced professional in carbon project development and investment strategy. Currently serving as Vice President and Co-founder at IMPERATIVE GLOBAL since June 2022, Arthur oversees technical development and financial assessments of carbon projects. Previously, Arthur held the position of Senior Manager in Structured Carbon Finance at South Pole, where significant achievements included initiating a USD 24M prepayment into a nature-based solutions project and contributing to a USD 500M global partnership for investment opportunities. Arthur's career also includes roles as an Investment Officer at FMO - Dutch Development Bank, focusing on private equity and nature-based solutions, as well as positions in carbon project development at Face the Future and Carbonium. Academic credentials include MSc degrees in Corporate and Market Finance from Sciences Po Strasbourg and Environment and Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
